Terms of service

These terms apply when you order from PrintPigeon (printpigeon.co.nz), a small family business in Auckland, New Zealand. By placing an order you agree to them. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

What we do

We sell 3D printed items made in PLA plastic, printed to order in Auckland and couriered anywhere in New Zealand. Most of what we sell is in our Ready to order range: you choose the item and the colour, and we print it for you. We can also print other models on request (see Custom print requests below).

Designs and licences

Our Ready to order items are printed from designs shared by independent designers on MakerWorld whose licences allow printed copies to be sold. Each product page credits the designer and links to the original design. We don't sell prints that copy trademarks or characters without permission, weapons or weapon parts, or anything illegal or unsafe.

Photos, colours and sizes

Product photos are the designers' own prints and may show different colours, finishes or several items together. Your order is printed in the single colour you choose, at the size described on the product page, unless the description says otherwise. Small differences between prints are normal.

Custom print requests

If you'd like something that isn't in our range, send us a request through our Custom print request page. We'll check the model's licence and whether we can print it well, then email you a quote. If you accept, we'll send you a secure payment link, and we start printing once it's paid. Sending a request doesn't commit you to anything, and we may decline a request.

Prices and payment

All prices are in New Zealand dollars. Shipping is added at checkout. Payment is taken when you place your order. If we make a pricing mistake, we'll contact you before printing and you can cancel for a full refund.

Use of prints

Our prints are decorative and hobby items. They aren't toys for children under 3 (small parts can be a choking hazard), aren't food-safe, and aren't designed to hold weight or for safety-critical use. PLA can soften in heat, so keep prints out of hot cars and away from heat sources. Tealight holders are for battery LED tealights only, and vases and planters aren't watertight.
